
Rob Parker is the founder of the Black Sportswriters Hall of Fame. Parker is a longtime sportswriter, starting his career in 1986 at the Wilkes-Barre Times Leader. He also wrote for the Daily News in New York, was a baseball writer for the The Cincinnati Enquirer. He was also a columnist at the Detroit Free Press, Newsday in New York and The Detroit News.
